Pete Shelley – Qu’est-ce Que C’est Que Ça

Pete Shelley’s 2nd solo album eschews the noise and experiments of debut ‘Sky Yen’, and settles into a Poptastic take on New Wave/Synth-Pop that is closer in style to his former band Buzzcocks. This tune has a wonderful guitar riff that works its way into the listeners brain with little effort, much like most of the tunes on 1981’s ‘Homosapien’.
