Grace Jones – Vamp Main Theme

A song that can only be found in the 1986 American film ‘Vamp’; a neon lit comedy Horror reminiscent of ‘After Hours’ by Scorsese (a film that came out a year before ‘Vamp’). Anyone who has seen it will remember this tune as the one that accompanies Jone’s stage performer as ‘Katrina’; replete with Keith Haring body paint. The tune has never been released and didn’t even feature on the OST. This is a shame, as it’s a lovely Avant-Afro Futurist piece with whip snare and rubbery bass. At least someone had the good grace (ahem) to post it on YouTube so we can bring it to you.
