The Monochrome Set – I Feel Fine (Really)

Fantastic new track from the Hornsey Post Punk stalwarts who have always known their way around a melody or two. Video directed by Tony Potts, and off of the brand new album ‘Maisieworld’.

The Monochrome Set – He’s Frank

There is more than a touch of the Velvets to this track from UK Post Punk outfit The Monochrome Set. They released a different version of this a few years later that was a tad more polished and streamlined (and still good), but this is the original from 1978 in its full Garage glory.

The Monochrome Set – Eine Symphonie des Grauens

Hugely underrated new Wave act from London. This band had all the hooks and were fantastic songwriters, exemplified by this track from a 1979 single.

The Monochrome Set – He’s Frank

This is the 1983 version of the 1979 track ‘He’s Frank’. One of the greatest tracks that the Velvet Underground never did.
