Partial Arts – Cruising

Al Usher and Ewan Pearson give us some Minimal Techno with a Cosmic Disco feel; from 2006.

Partial Arts – Telescope

Wonderful 2008 track from the duo of Al Usher and Ewan Pearson that was released on Kompakt.
This sits right in between Techno and Krautrock; almost dead centre.
Obviously Kraftwerk are the band who leap to your mind on the first listen, as their transition between the radical krautrock of the first album and the Man-Machine music they are famous for sounded like it was in this ballpark.
In fact, this track sounds like their ‘Tanzmusik’ has been dragged through some 21st century production via Detroit.

Parial Arts – Telescope

Krautrock meets Techno? Oh wait, wasn’t that Kraftwerk many, many years ago?
Anyhow, this is a tune for sure, even though it would get the genre fiends in a bit of a tizz (you know what the electronic dance music set are like).
