Heartthrob – Nairobi Candles (Fuck Rachel Tension Mix)

Jesse Siminski has always thrown some cheeky moves; even with his toughest Techno tunes. This, from his latest EP ‘Nairobi Candles: Burning Bright’, up’s the cheeky quotient and throws some starry Disco moves.

Dapayk Solo – Right Here With Me

Daypak solo a.k.a Maerk Bois a.k.a Niklas Worgt gives us some sultry Tech-House that he released on his 2008 EP ‘Acid Pornofski’.

Martyn – U1-U8

Some nice Housey doings from his 2015 EP “Falling For You”.

Oliver Huntemann – Cracker Capers

Chunky Tech House (some called this Electro-House at the time) that was very de rigueur at the time (2006 to be precise). This is from the German DJ/Producers album ‘Fieber’.

Nick Curly – Static

The Mannheim man gives us some deep, Techy, Dubby House that’s meticulously crafted. From 2007.

Heartthrob – The Bunker Podcast 143

Podcast of a recent live jam with mostly new and unreleased material from Jesse Siminski a.k.a Heartthrob. Does this mean there’s a long overdue album from him? Who know’s (even some EP’s would be nice), but his style and panache is still on display, and demonstrates why he was always heads above the crown in the minimal scene. The final track of this mix is really fantastic, and has all of the hallmarks of a 4am track. Enjoy!

A Guy Called Gerald – Live @ His Studio, 11th of February 2017

Just a guy (called Gerald) chilling at his studio and doin’ a little jam; for 5 hours. This man is still ahead of the game as far as we’re concerned, and no matter what you think of his seeming arrogance at times, the guy is a class act that delivers stunning Techno in all of its flavours and shades. Gerald manages to hit spots where the music is tough, trippy, sexy, and, importantly, retains serious groovage. This is Techno. He did this on the 11th of February, 2017. If you haven’t had a chance to see him do this live, then take it when it does come.

A Guy Called Gerald – @ RTS.FM; 16.04.2011: LIVE

Gerald doing his thing; including covering Adonis’ ‘No Way Back’, and playing out his own stone cold hit ‘Voodoo Ray’.; as well as a version of 808 State’s ‘Pacific’ (Gerald was in 808 State then and, many say, was the guy who wrote it). This guy is a true UK Techno hero; along with the likes of Baby Ford, Andrew Weatherall, and Mark Broom. Goes all DnB at the end, which is a shame; but worth a  look for the first hour and 15 minutes.

Elite Force – Return2Mindfunk (Double Black Mix)

The only Elite Force track that the Sentinel has heard and liked; but what a track! Low slung and tough Techno that doesn’t forgo the groove. This is a remix of their track by the same act under an alias; and far better that the original. Class tune from 2007.

A Guy Called Gerald – Live In The Boiler Room (2013)

This is Gerald’s 2nd Boiler Room set (he did one in 2012; already posted on The Sentinel), where he delivers his own tunes via 2 laptops and Reason software. House/Techno tunes or, as Gerald calls his stuff, ‘Ghetto-Tech’. Enjoy!
