Organum – Vacant Lights Part 1

One of two tracks that make up 1987’s ‘Vacant Lights’ album see’s David Jackman enlist the help of Steven Stapleton, Dinah Jane Rowe, and Peter McGhee. The track is typical of Jackman’s material (as Organum or otherwise), and mesmerises in the most subtle way. Falling between field recordings and noise/sound material, and never quite sounding like either, Organum take the listener somewhere unique.
