Amon Düül II – Between The Eyes

Amon Düül II playing live on Beat Club in 1970. Their Krautrock came from the school that was influenced by Pink Floyd; fleshed out with Eastern tones. The riff at 1:09 even has one thinking of Sabbath; and how much praise can we give the sloping beast the track resembles at its very start? Gotta love the Düül II.

Lothar Meid, who died last month, is cool as fuck in this footage.
