Faust & Nurse With Wound – Lass Mich

These two titans ended up working together after Jean-Hervé Péron, whilst doing a special for the Kosmische Klub radio show on Resonance Fm in 2005, was told a tale by Kosmische-naut Marcelo Madrid about Steven Stapleton travelling to Wümme to meet Faust, only to find that they were long gone. This germinated in Péron’s mind, culminating in the wonderful 2007 collaboration ‘Disconnected’. This track, the opener, has far more Faust genes in it than Nurse; but you can hear both influences in a wonderful slab of Krautrock that harks back to Faust’s golden era. Mighty, mighty music.
