23 Skidoo – The Gospel Comes To New Guinea

Skittery, Jazzy Industrial from this UK act. This track first appeared as a 12″ (B-Side ‘Last Words’) in 1981, and has certainly lasted the test of time. Influenced by Astral Jazz music by the likes of Miles Davis, Don Cherry, Joe Henderson et al, and given that dank early 80’s feel that was part and parcel of the Industrial scene, the track has gloomy psychedelic sound. A belter!
