Einstürzende Neubauten – Halber Mensch

The title track from the bands 1985 album. Halber Mensch brought some more space into the bands sound; whilst it certainly remained in the dark and dank recesses of 2nd wave industrial. This album is possibly their finest effort for the early, dark ‘n’ ugly phase they had; before they shifted into realms of beauty (‘Tabula Rasa’ was the immense crossover album). This track is dramatic, gothic, and one can almost smell the scent of a musky dungeon. Enjoy.
