Organisation – Milk Rock

Before Kraftwerk, Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider were in Organisation. The duo were aided by Basil Hammoudi, Butch Hauf and Fred Monicks; and they recorded one album, 1969’s ‘Tone Float’, of which ‘Milk Rock’ is the closest to the rough motorik sound of 1st phase, Krautrock-era Kraftwerk. This track has a lovely crunchy groove, and seems to speed up even though it probably stays at the same bpm throughout.
