Uzect Plaush – Auto Radia

Uzect Plaush was Australian Paul Schütze under one of his guises (this being a simple anagram of his name) from an album released in 1994 titled ‘More Beautiful Human Life’; which was his only release using the Uzect Plaush name. The album rode the Ambient Techno wave that was going strong at the time, but wasn’t quite the same thing. Some of the work he did has dated as much as (again, ‘some of’) the aforementioned Ambient Techno, while some of it still hits the mark. this, of course, is all subjective and a matter of taste, and I would suggest hearing the whole album (the track ‘The Falling Dream’ is particularly incredible). This track has a nice dark edge to it, without ever over-egging matters.
