Steroid Maximus – Radio Raheem

Jim ‘Foetus’ Thirlwell gives us the most unlikely homage to a Spike Lee character with this damaged piece of Sampledelia. Diseased Sufi’s and crumbling middle Eastern temples come to mind; or perhaps this is the audio equivalent of Radio Raheems death throes as he is murdered by the police (you have to have seen Spike Lee’s ‘Do The Right Thing’ to get this whole reference). From 1992’s ‘Gondwanaland’.
