The Residents – Diskomo

“Disco will never die”! stated the sticker on the cover of the 12″ Diskomo; a Disco remix (long before a remix was a ‘thing’) of the 1979 ‘Eskimo’ album. This was psychedelic dance music from way back in the late ’70’s, and should be viewed in the same manner as ‘Hot On The Heels Of Love’ as an early milestone of trippy dance music; only on this the tempo is faster and the colours much, much brighter.
