Laika – If You Miss (Laika Virgin Mix)

Spectral and ethereal; from Kevin Martin’s 1995 ‘Macro Dub Infection Volume 1’ compilation. Laika were a UK band lumped into the nebulous ‘Post-Rock’ category. They consisted of Margaret Fiedler McGinnis (London based American musician) and John Frenett, who formed Laika after being members of Moonshake. The original mix of this tune is also quite lovely.
