Juan Atkins – The Mission

Detroit Techno was just plain ‘Techno’ before everyone else got involved, but the guys from the Motor City arrived there first, and are still dishing out electronic soul for the masses.
Juan Atkins, one of the ‘Belleville Three’, and also the holder of the title ‘Godfather of techno’, gives us a masterful slice of space phunq with 2003′s ‘The Mission’.
This is truly dope.
